2013 Diversity Council Honors Award™
All ERGs and diversity councils submitting a completed application will receive their results in their complimentary 2013 Diversity Council Honors Award™ Application Summary Report. This report provides councils with feedback and comparative information that will enhance their performance and increase their value to the organization they serve. So there is value for ERGs and Diversity Councils that are not selected to be among the TOP 25 recipients for the award. The TOP 25 ERG and diversity council recipients will receive their awards at the 5th Annual Diversity Council Honors Award™ Dinner & Ceremony during the second annual 2013 Diversity Council Conference in Washington D.C. on October 2, 2013. Visit 2012 Diversity Council Honors Award™ Slide Show to experience last year's event. Award BackgroundIn its fifth year, the Diversity Council Honors Award™ was established by the Association of Diversity Councils (ADC), a practice group of diversity and inclusion consulting and training firm PRISM International, Inc., in 2008. Linda H. Stokes, President and CEO of PRISM, says, "Our firm has assisted organizations with their diversity and inclusion initiatives. We recognized the important contributions and impact that ERGs and diversity councils had on their organizations; yet, for all their great efforts there was little national recognition. We wanted to change that." PRISM created a specialized practice - the Association of Diversity Councils – to be the premier resource for diversity and inclusion ERG and council professionals. |
