Honors Award Application
Award Application & Process
Applications from distinctive multiple ERGs or diversity councils within one organization are permitted. There is no cost to apply. All application data is kept secure and private. You do not have to be a member of the Association of Diversity Councils to apply. ERGs and Diversity Councils complete and submit an online application of 83 questions that evaluates their impact on their organization over the past 12 months. Award applicants are evaluated on contributions and achievements in these categories:
All parts of the application must be completed in its entirety and submitted by Thursday, June 20, 2013 5:00 pm ET. The TOP 25 recipients will be notified within four weeks after the June 20th application closing date. All other applicants will be notified shortly thereafter.
Every applicant will receive their personalized results in their complimentary 2013 Diversity Council Honors Award™ Application Summary Report. This 12 page report displays the ERG or Diversity Council score and its comparison to the median scores of all applicants, the TOP 25 and the TOP 10. It is based on the responses provided in the 4 focus and 10 sub measure areas. It also includes a summary of the best practices as compiled from leading applicants. The Application Summary Report provides a quick and cost effective way for ERGs and Diversity Councils to receive feedback and information that will enhance their performance and increase their value to the organization they serve. The Diversity Council Honors Award™ application is open to all U.S. ERGs and diversity councils in operation for at least two (2) years that execute strategic tactics to achieve goals that come from and Executive Council or Steering Committee either for an entire organization, a specific line of business or business unit.
