Honors Award ApplicationApplication is free and open to all U.S. diversity councils groups (diversity councils, ERGs, Affinity and Network groups) in operation for at least two (2) years and who are responsible for achieving goals for the entire organization; or a council within a company that represents a specific line of business or business unit. Operating councils that execute strategy tactics to achieve goals that may come from an Executive Council or Steering Committee may also apply. Applications from distinctive multiple councils within one organization are permitted. Membership with the Association of Diversity Councils is not a requirement to apply. Councils complete and submit an online application that evaluates their Council's impact on their organization over the past 12 months (2011). Award applicants will be evaluated on contributions and achievements in these categories: Demonstrated Council Results; Demonstrated Management Commitment; Measurement and Accountability and Communication and Education. Responses to essay type questions should not exceed 50 words. All parts of the application must be completed in its entirety and submitted by June 1, 2012 5pm ET. The 2012 Diversity Council Honors Award Application consists of 151 questions covering several sections and subsections as outlined below:
Once the application is submitted, an application received message will display. Responses are automatically downloaded and digitally calculated using our proven weighted and scoring algorithms that ensure for statistical consistency and accuracy. The Top 25 council recipients will be notified within four weeks after the closing of the application on June 1st. All applicants will be notified shortly thereafter. All applicants will receive a complimentary 2012 Report of Survey Findings and Innovative Operating Practices Report that contains the survey findings and their implications, innovative operating practices and future trends. The Top 25 council recipients will receive their awards at the 4th Annual Diversity Council Honors Award Dinner during the inaugural 2012 Diversity Council Conference in Washington DC on October 4, 2012. Their council practices will also be highlighted in the annual Report of Survey Findings and Innovative Operating Practices.
